Philly (-1) vs. Kansas City
This will be brief
because there’s not much left to say.
The two #1 seeds, and what appear to be the two best teams in the NFL,
are meeting for the Superbowl. Aside
from Tua Tagovailoa (and possibly Garoppolo), Hurts and Mahomes are the two
best QBs in the NFL this season. Both
have been injured, but both are mostly recovered from their injuries.
The
Eagles have a slightly better AYP than KC (7.3 to 7.1), and Philly has the best
defensive AYP in the league at 4.0, while KC’s pass defense is only slightly
better than average at 5.2.
Both of
Philly’s playoff wins were blow-outs, while both of KC’s wins (by 7 points and
3 points), went down to the wire. I
think that means something.
The
better team does not always win the Superbowl, but Philly is the better
team. Take the birds and lay the point.
